Casa Soluna is a detached villa in south-eastern Spain, constructed in 2002 by a respected local builder. With a good-sized plot in a sought-after location, it is completely screened by high walls and is not overlooked on any side. Being at the top of a hill, it has far-reaching views over the surrounding area and as far as the sierra, some 30 kilometres to the north. The solarium (sun-terrace) is a particularly good viewpoint (especially for drinks at sunset).

The swimming pool to the east of the house is in full sunshine all day until about 5.00pm. A large tiled area between the house and the pool provides ample space for sun-loungers and etc. The tiles extend along the south side to the small terrace which has access from the main bedroom through a large patio door and is a sheltered sun-trap. The rest of the garden has been covered with white gravel over a weed-proof membrane for easy maintenance. There are some trees, shrubs and potted plants, watered by an automatic irrigation system. Up to 4 cars can be parked in the property which has 2 entrance gates, vehicular and pedestrian. The road is quiet, being for residential access only, and is out of sight from the house.

Entrance to the villa is via a very large, covered terrace with typical Spanish arches (which could be glazed to provide an extra room). Inside, the main salon (sitting-room) is nice and big, with 3 windows looking north and east, a fireplace and a dining area. It is divided from the large kitchen by a breakfast bar and large, round arch. The kitchen is fitted with ample cupboards above and below, has a fitted Bosch oven with electric hob, a fridge-freezer and plumbing for a dish-washer. There are 2 double bedrooms off a central hall and a bathroom with marble vanitory unit, bidet and over-bath shower. Hot & cold air-conditioning is built- in. A 1.9m satellite dish is installed. A large utility/store room contains the washing-machine.
